  January 9, 2017 - Well made wine still holding up. Most of the fruit has faded but very balanced....enjoy! Still has a few years left.

  August 22, 2011 - The fruit seemed to be gone compared to what I remember from this vintage. The oak was still there, and there was some serious spice going on. Nonetheless, I think it peaked a while back. If you're holding on to it, don't.

  March 6, 2011 - Awesome syrah. Smooth and fruity, but definitely not a fruit bomb. Cherries, cinnamon, and vanilla. A little steep for me ($36), but I love Goosecross, and this is a lovely drink.

  February 12, 2011 - For me this Syrah can be summed up as "Good not great" I guess that's because nothing about it really stood out enough for me to jot it down in my notes. It just had a decent nose, decent mouthfeel, a tasty finish, but nothing distinguishing about it. I don't want to sound like I'm giving it a bad rap because it wasn't bad. Just nothing jumping out at me about it.
