February 18, 2018 - Beautiful bottle, fully mature, give it a double decant for 2 hours. Complex, long, in a very good place with 5-10 years left. MH. 2/4/18.

May 19, 2013 - Pongy, heavy and a little stewed. Structurally very good but shouldn't I be blown away? Lots of legs for a 14yr old.

March 5, 2013 - This wine is an infant. first day and 4 hours breathing--nothing. 2nd day 4 more hours just a hint of the complexity lurking underneath.

(Frederic Esmonin Chambertin) Medium red color; rich ripe spicy cherry and red fruit nose; a little tight but focused tart cherry and black cherry palate with good delineation; medium-plus finish
