November 24, 2023 - Hosanna is always a special experience. This one did not disappoint.
Initial pour was austere, with a very tight nose. After a few swirls the earth came forward with full force, followed by leather, green pepper and raw meat. Graphite, leather, stone, and wet earth are also in the bouquet. No fruit or florals to be smelled.
Dark ruby in the glass, and viscous to light. The palate is quite impressive with tannins that are subtle put definitely present. No fruit there either- spices, peppers, dark berry preserve, coffee and tobacco dominate.

January 26, 2022 - Strong, very untense fragrance. Smells of beetroot and cabbace. Huge flavour, earthy with some berries in the after taste. I loved this wine.

October 15, 2021 - Decanted and served . Some decanting advisable here.
Very pretty nose, earthy and leathery . Really the highlight of the wine as on the palate it is a bit short and drying . Not sure if this is generic or the specific bottle but we expected a lot more fruit here given the vintage and pedigree. Still will not disappoint and this is a solid 92-93
