December 26, 2020 - Great balance and flavor. I mss the complexity of other Bordeaux but this is a great food wine. Tannins must be what is called “fully integrated”. No cedar detectable, which would have added a point or 2. No signs of age but no reason to age longer. I wonder how this compares to the “Reignac”, which is the more expensive bottling.

May 21, 2020 - Second day, with chicken cacciatore. Filling in for Chianti. Went great! This is the second label Reignac, called “Chateau de Reignac.” Very misleading! Good qpr, however. Probably better now than yesterday, which was a good steak wine.

September 29, 2018 - P&P, not a lot of bouquet, but the wine was definitely ready and didn't need to breathe much, if any. Tannins were not obtrusive, and the flavor was seamless, with great balance. I doubt it will improve any, although it may plateau for a few more years.

October 24, 2014 - Skeptical at first, 6 hrs decant needed. Smooth, full, tannic. wait another yr.
