    February 11, 2020 - Nose pretty bad, my first thought was bottle was shot. Very vegetal, even seemed a bit baked? Palate a lot better, but nothing to get excited about. Some nice raspberry fruits and decent finish. (I have no idea how this got into my cellar other than I got suckered by some store’s email!) (-;
    Note: Some of the worst of the nose blew off in time. A two hour decant would be wise.

    « Le Cantos del Diablo 2008 est issu à 100 % de grenache et fermenté avec toutes ses rafles pour la texture. Arborant une robe pourpre sombre, il offre un nez relevé et envoûtant de cerise, de notes florales, d’épices asiatiques et d’encens. Il est doux, riche et incroyablement concentré. » – Traduit de www.erobertparker.com
    L'appellation Mentrida DO est dans le centre de l'espagne, pas trop loin de Madrid.
    P&P dimanche soir et dégusté avec les cotes levées. Était plutôt fermé et initialement avec des notes olfactives de fumée.
    Ce soir, il s'est amélioré. Avec un bouquet toujours typé grenache ibérique: fruits noirs, violettes et toast juste al dente.
    La bouche s'est aussi attendrie de son intensité solaire pour laisser les fruits noirs s'exprimer. Bonne acidité.
    Suite et fin demain. Mais clairement un problème de RQP, ce qui l'ampute beaucoup au score final. On payes-tu pour un nom que j'ignore?

    May 14, 2014 - Very good, but I gotta try it again later. Based on professional reviews, I expected more.
    Deep red and black fruit. A vegetal nose. Possibly because of on-stems fermentation.
    It has also a chocolate. (Dark) and caramel presence.
    Very good

    December 15, 2011 - Jay Miller RP - Tasting Note
    The 2008 Cantos del Diablo is 100% Garnacha fermented with all of its stems for texture. Deep crimson-colored, it offers up an enthralling, high-toned nose of cherry and floral aromas, Asian spices, and incense. Sweet, rich, and amazingly concentrated, this already complex effort will evolve for 3-4 years and drink well from 2014 to 2023 if not longer. Score - 96. (Jay Miller, erobertparker.com, April 2010)

    June 11, 2011 - backwards and intense. decanted for an hour, drank over the next two at a grenache themed get together. The black pepper, laser acidity and tart tannins overwhelmed it at this stage but showed its promise. Will sit on it for at least another 3 years before trying the next one.
