May 1, 2010 - Ultimate Parker in Singapore Mega-Tasting (The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore): Entry level unoaked(!) Pinot Noir. Did not like this one bit. Not quite undrinkable, but not far away from that either. Varietal characteristics were pushed to the max here. Sweet candied nose, with almost sickly sweet cherries and flowers was followed by more candied cherry sweetness and some peppery spice on the palate moving into cola notes on the finish. Far too sweet for my liking, and absolutely characterless. The wine's salvation was in its freshness and balance, still though, a complete "meh!".

April 28, 2010 - I had grouper and Carol had Mahi Mahi at Coast. For $32 this wine was very good.
