  March 25, 2014 - Decanted one hour and found a very pleasant aromatic nose. This is a fruit forward and jammy Petite Sirah that has rich, dense dark fruit on the palate and is rounded off by gripping tannins on the finish. An extraordinary experience to this taster.

  January 29, 2013 - Last tasted this almost a year ago. Scores the same but notes vary. This bottle was decanted for about 45 minutes, needed no more time to open up. The wine might have softened a bit, the tannins are well integrated. There is still lots of blackberry fruit and big dark flavors. This is tasting really nicely, still an excellent petite sirah.

  March 28, 2012 - This is a big, dark wine that needed a bit of time and swirling to open up. It has a nice nose, combination of dark and red fruits. Round, tannic wine, the tannins are balanced,she says, almost balanced, he says,by the fruit. This is a wine that is better with food. Seems to me this is what I expect from a Petite Sirah, big, dark, long finish, oh yeah lots of tannins. Gotta love a good Petite Sirah. This one qualifies.
