December 16, 2023 - 93++ this wine has become a lot more approachable. It was enjoyable previously been had such searing acidity that it really was not showing all it had. Now a nice deep gold color tending towards copper. Gorgeous bouquet of honey, lemon custard, apricot. Very concentrated with flavors of honey, tea, apricot, fig Jam, lemon and other Citrus flavors followed by a lot of acidity which gives lift and definition to the sweetness which there is a lot of. The more I taste this the more I like it. Certainly approachable now with the sugar and acidity this should be very long lived. Excellent qpr.

March 18, 2021 - 94-96. From a bottle that has been open for at least a month or two without any perceptible change. Light gold color. Explosive honey spice botrytis honeysuckle with hint of fresh caramel bouquet. Super sweet on the palate but well balanced sweetness due to the turbo charged acids. Delicious flavors of honey, smoke, mineral, tart fresh apricot with a long acidic finish. Insanely delicious. Incredible QPR. A must have and a cellar selection. Best from now to 2038? and beyond? So fresh youthful and lively. Shows that the bottle I had from another source last year was not well stored

March 15, 2020 - Delicious honey pear apple caramel flavor and bouquet. From a source that does not have the best storage. Still relatively youthful with a little bit of oxidation which is probably an indication more of storage than the wine itself. still even with this less-than-ideal and storage situation it has plenty of life ahead of it. I will try one of mine which is been well stored hopefully soon and have a better report. Still been delicious and has the ability to age even with this sample that is not the best stored

July 4, 2015 - This is a magnificent dessert wine which I had tasted before only once, at the winery 2 years ago. Deep gold in color, with on the nose dried apricots, mangoes, peaches, candied orange peels and marzipan. Full-bodied, round, rich and sweet but not cloyingly so, THANKS to the bracing acidity. On the palate dried apricots and mangoes followed by ripe, sweet citrus fruits and bitter orange jam as well as honey, lemon curd with notes of vanilla and caramelized almonds lingering long on the plush finish. Magnifique. 11.5% Abv.
