February 27, 2021 - Double decant 1 hr before dinner. Lovely developed Barossa nose, garnet colour, fine tannins and balanced fruit. Long finish. Very nice wine. Fully developed but should hold in the short term. Parker rated this and the 2005 very highly for a good reason.

October 2, 2017 - A little past it's prime, so it would be a shame to waste your remaining bottles thinking it will continue to improve. A star of the 2002 vintage.

April 3, 2015 - Super ripe. soft. raisins and prunes and plums. Long impressive flavors but too ripe even for me.

April 22, 2011 - I am pretty impressed with this....at a pretty good stage it would seem. Good fruit, not over the top or over extracted. Licorice, black fruits, pepper, some blue fruits, nice spices, good mouthfeel, decent finish. Wish I had a few more of these, they look to have a decent future. Barossa done right. Very nice. Almost wow.

December 16, 2009 - Really enjoyable - very rich and fruit-forward, full of blackcurrant, plum and black cherry flavours mingled with some mint and dark chocolate, but there's a surprising freshness to the fruit that I don't find in too many wines in this style that makes it quite easy and fun to drink, with a long finish that's all cherry and dark chocolate.
