Community Tasting Notes 6

February 15, 2014 - Kind of watered out and anemic. What taste and aroma that was there was pleasant but I had expected more intensity.

February 4, 2012 - Initially cinnamon and red apples(!), also just a hint of salmiak. after some air it opens into a more red fruit drop-scent. in the mouth it is structured feeling with plums, and red berries. the tannins are still powerful, but meets food in a great way. will probably not touch remaining bottles for a year or two, just to see what happens.

October 9, 2011 - Starting to show signs of maturity but still rather closed. I'll hold on to the remaining bottles for at least 1-2 years.

July 16, 2011 - Chalky plum, light rim, light purple; white pepper, leather, licorice, black fruits; pepper, oak forward, short finish, light fruit. Overall needs more time for integration - at least three years if not more.
