Community Tasting Notes 2

February 22, 2016 - This was an older bottle a friend gave me. Thinking it's near the end of its drinking window I decided to drink right away. The wine is a deep garnet with very little only a very slight brown edge. The nose has fig, tar, chocolate and blackberry. The wine is a bit acidic with high tannin. It probably has a few years left, but drinks well now.
