July 14, 2013 - Even at 11 years, still very energetic, however, the components are now well integrated. Surprisingly (for BM) dark. Brooding sour cherry, cedar. Mid-weight mouthfeel. My last bottle :(

December 25, 2012 - A rather subtle bottle that only opened up near the end. I would suggest drinking these sooner rather than later.

March 27, 2011 - Popped & poured. Pale, translucent red. Intially notes on nose were brambly cola with similar entry. The entry had firm but smooth tannins with deft acidic balance. As it opened up, the texture and fruit thickened and sweetened. Less cola, more cherry. Lingering minerality. Mid-Atlantic styled. This vintage still has some years ahead of it. Impressive.

September 5, 2006 - A very good BC PN. Its still a bit young and I think will get better with a few more years. I decanted for total of 3hrs and it kept getting better and better. Had the typical earthy, mushroom aromas. the fruit took awhile to make an appearance, and when it did there was a soft strawberry, sour cherry and some rhubarb. a very good wine that needs a couple of more years to be a great wine.
