Initial aromas are herbaceous; mint over eucalyptus, then ripe blackcurrant, a little leather and earth, a little cedar and sweet spice. Juicy, eucalyptus, alcohol warmth, tight tannins are drying but softly textured, blackcurrant is slight sour on the palate - perhaps a little too much tartaric? Hmm.

With time, and agitation, the herbaceouesness beings to dissipate, lifting the other aromas. Tight tannins, alcohol heat, flavours much of a muchness with the nose. Did I mention the alcohol?
