May 8, 2011 - light nose, high acidity. Red berries, nothong wrong except a bit too light.

November 8, 2010 - Ruby / cherry. Red fruit to the fore such as raspberry and cherry coming out slick and elegant. Real purity of fruit that's enhanced by a light spice undercurrent. Some toast notes provide a dark / bright mix of bitter roasting and sweet vanilla impressions from the oak that's interesting and somewhat unusual. Probably the caramel sensation is still more evident bringing the whole to the sweeter side. On the palate this displays concentration and plenty of red fruit flavour. It's very well balanced, vibrant from the spices and retains a solid, evenly built tannic structure. This comes out quite stylish. The sweet oak toast impression is something of let down but fades away with time. Rebuy: yes.
