October 2, 2016 - Still a bit of fruit left but also oxidized. Probably past its prime.

November 22, 2015 - Drank as the white alongside Shafer hillside select- and it held up really well by comparison. Very french in style, not super oak or overly done like a lot of california chardonnay. Acid and fruit balance well. great structure and depth.

July 5, 2014 - Judith's Over the Hill and Under the Weather Event (Judith's House): corked

March 22, 2014 - Whites at Brians: Pop and pour. Shared a bottle with 2 people over a couple hours. This wine is drinking well right now. Tropical fruit all over the place - pineapple, mango, melon, a bit of green apple. In addition there's spice, a little earth, and quite a bit of buttery oak. Almost too much oak. Given the price and that this is "just" an appellation wine, this is an impressive effort.

October 1, 2013 - Real Burgundian feel. Excellent depth of flavour, with lemon, melon and peach. Long finish, and transformation to creamy, smoky flavours at the end. This is a good balance between the structure and minerality of Chassagne, and the lush creany hedonism of California
