Community Tasting Notes 5

November 24, 2010 - A nice blend that poured dark in the glass and smelled and tasted of dark fruit. Quite enjoyable for the price.

August 24, 2010 - This wasn't as good as I remembered from the club wine tasting. I'm thinking I'll let the other bottle just lay awhile longer.

August 17, 2010 - Tasty and enjoyable, and rather dellicate for the blend types. Raymond put this together very well, with a deep purple color and a nose of come-hither black fruit and spice, which gently opens on the palate with blackberry, black rasberry & black current, and just the right mix of oak to balance the flavors. Soft mouthfeel, not cloying nor jammy, and a nice medium finish. Freindly with food, not over-grapey like so many of these blends. Easy to enjoy and a great QPR.

    July 20, 2010 - Probably too early

June 13, 2010 - Lighter color with mild cherry nose. Simple fruit in the middle with very light tannins. Simple wine but enjoyable.
