November 17, 2014 - Drank side by side with a $300 Marcassin. And this was about 10x better. Big red fruits, dusty and earthy, very crisp and Burgundian. Glad I got a bunch more of this - because it is quite tasty.

October 15, 2013 - This perfectly aged Oregon Pinot won over not just me but also a diehard Burg lover. Beautifully restrained yet bold enough to know its New World, time has served this well.
The integration and balance, with a touch of spice makes for a great food wine.

July 10, 2012 - Beautiful pinot right out the gate. Resembled my previous bottle on Day 2 without the Day 1 issues of heat and reticence. This bottle had great balanced acidity, precise fruit flavors and nice aromas without heat. Gorgeous.

January 15, 2012 - I cannot recall a better OR pinot. the wine is perfectly integrated at this point; not too much or too little of anything. loved it.

December 26, 2011 - Day 1: Opened and poured. Brittle slightly hot nose. Warm red high-toned fruit. Reticent flavors. Moderately tannic and acidic. Alcohol on finish. 87pts

Day 2: much softer. More flowers and roses. Warm red fruits. Tannins have softened and acidity persists. Heat dissipated a little. 91pts
