Community Tasting Notes 5

April 5, 2014 - Remains an attractive drop. Light, buzzy, raspberry fruits, mineral lines, classic style 'bordering on cool climate'. A long way from weighty and intense but very good going at 6yrs.

July 25, 2013 - Classic Victorian Shiraz, with peppery red fruit, woodsmoke and some lovely earthy undertones. The palette is balanced and refined with supple tannins, ripe dark fruit and a burst of acidity that makes for a lucious, full bodied wine.

May 25, 2013 - Very VY this. Light red berries, cherries, buzzy acid, almost pinot-like. Very different to the usual fare at this price point. Drinking best now.

February 16, 2013 - Just a lovely shiraz. Reasonable concentration, acidity and aged characteristics. Fantastic for an entry level wine.

October 13, 2012 - A cool climate shiraz with a dominant peppery aftertaste.
