December 31, 2014 - 12.5% alc; Deep yellow-gold. A penetrating nose with crushed rocks, mineral, fresh hay, appearance of wood and as opened up got aniseed and fennel herbs. Bone dry on the palate, not an edge of sweetness!, Super fine and linear yet with subtle power and a long, purposeful finish. Classy wine with complexity lots of pulverised rocks, aniseed, salted almonds, almost like opening a bag of potato chips. Perhaps a little lacking in the mid palate but loved this dry stone wall character that kept the wine fresh and buoyant.

April 25, 2013 - Lean and elegant style with a slightly oily texture and a real mineral edge along with citrus flavors. Tangy and complex on the finish and fabulous with food.
