September 28, 2017 - Popped and poured. Aromas of clover and honeysuckle. Mature flavors of pear, minerals. Honey and citrus, with occasional petrol, in the finish. Vibrant flavors, firm backbone, mild sweetness, some complexity. Great QPR.

August 23, 2014 - Great with a creamy fish soup with cod, salmon and shrimp. Flower and lemon, also a bit mineral on the nose. Very fresh taste with a generous offering of both sweetness and lime. Fairly long aftertaste.

July 29, 2013 - Schaefer never disappoints and even this estate Riesling is a heck of a bottle for 16 bucks. Really rich, complex and typical Riesling aroma and then guava and apple and more honey on the palate. My only complaint is that the wine could use a little more acidity to offset the lingering sugar on the finish but hey, this is entry level wine and way better than it needs to be.
