November 13, 2021 - Family weekend tasting; 11/13/2021-11/14/2021 (Egmond): From this bottle it was clear that my last bottle was flawed. Deep golden in color, quite tertiary on the nose, but also still some fruit left: Nutty, honey, pear, sherry tones and yellow apple. On the palate much fresher and more fruit: pear, apricot, butter. Rounder on the palate. High acidity with a long finish

November 10, 2021 - Deep golden color which translated in a mainly tertiary nose with a bit of fruit left; dried yellow apple, dried apricots, gingerbread, nutty and honey. Comparable on teh palate. Medium+ acidity and medium+ finish
Gone on day 2. Unfortunately this bottle was way past its prime...

December 20, 2017 - Under Stelvin. Very bright and fresh colour, not showing any sign the wine is over 9 years old. On the palate, lovely citrus, acidity and full body. Wet stones and minimal oak. Really lovely chardonnay belying its supposedly humble origins.

August 6, 2017 - Bottled under Stelvin and still really fresh. Pale gold colour does not suggest the age. Lovely citrus, marmalade fruit flavour cut with firm acidity. Finishes quite long. Very good for village level. Wish I had more

January 15, 2016 - Med + colour. Hazelnut and lemon nose. No extra padding and adequate intensity of fruit. Really gulpable. A mature bottle of a top label for this modest appellation. Screwcap.
