November 27, 2013 - Slightly caustic, "hot", raisiny, chocolatey pinot noir. A bit astringent on palate but certainly a pleasant quaff.

April 14, 2012 - Light, pleasant Pinot Noir with bright cherry and a bit of toasty oak and tobacco. Full flavored, fruit forward, clean, bright with some complexity. Well made in the Central Otago style, which is a little light for my taste.

January 16, 2012 - - Purple color with fast forming legs and aromas of ethanol. It's overly acidic and has flavours of ethanol and cherry with a short finish - Overly acidic, short finish, poor nose. Didn't like at all, frankly.

June 19, 2010 - Central Otago Pinot Noir Expo (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): A savoury nose featuring autumn leaves and briar. The palette has plenty of tannins and acid, but in good balance with the ripe red fruit. The finish is a little short thought.
