Fairly cloudy rusty garnet
Ripe caramel aromas and flavors
Incredibly soft and smooth opening,
Then lingering caramel flavors with just a bit of dusty tannin at the end -

November 18, 2017 - Shows how well a lowly Gattinara can age. Dusty ruby color, soft structure, balanced with forest floor, sour berry fruit, and a delicate nose.

May 13, 2011 - Mostly 71 and 74 Nebbioli (Baltimore, Maryland): Sour cherry, dry cherry and earthy. Soft palate but ends with noticeable tannins. Still quite youthful and drinking well.
