  August 3, 2012 - "Solid" seems to be the word most often used in other posts, and I agree. Didn't set our world on fire accompanying an end-of-the-week dinner of Caprese salad, but it was a nice solid (there's that word again) complement to a simple summer meal. Some bothersome sparkle on the tongue upon opening that settled down to reveal nice fig, tropical and honeyed notes with a light grassy, mineral finish. Probably on its last legs; so drink now.

  February 27, 2011 - This wine was tight and light at first pour. After opening for a few minutes notes of honey and mineral showed through. The finish was dry and a little short. The wine was balanced and the short finish made you want to grab your glass to get more.

  January 30, 2011 - Trip to Napa Valley; 1/30/2011-1/31/2011 (Napa, CA): 98% sauvignon blanc, 2% semillon. Very solid sauvignon blanc. Tropical fruits on the nose. On the palate, nice tropical fruits, creamy mouthfeel, medium acidity, sweeter than your typical sauvignon blanc. Solid effort.
