April 17, 2024 - Plenty of black berries with meat and underbrush. Good weight and density. Slightly drying tannins on finish.

  • Agoston Haraszthy Likes this wine: 90 points

September 15, 2023 - Light garnet in the glass. Nose is very light, flowery, perfumed but is faint overall. The palate is more rustic, red cherries, cedar. Leaves a little to be desired.

May 7, 2022 - Drinking very well. Good fruit, excellent nose, great typicity. Continues to drink in a Burgundian direction as opposed to a new world direction.

March 6, 2018 - Initially, really significant, borderline vinegary sharpness threw me off, so we lit it sit in glass for about an hour. Opened up into a wonderfully earthy wine with bold red fruit and good underlying acidity. Still felt relatively youthful and was even better two days later.

September 14, 2017 - In a very good place right now, excellent balance with good fruit remaining and some panache over the top of it all. While clearly an American wine, has some elegant burgundy feel to it.
