September 24, 2011 - Interesting spanish varietal from lodi California! Go figure...Producer is trying their hand at bring Spain to N.A. I think they are doing decent job. The reviews on there other efforts are decent. This is a nice example of a Albarino i think. Initial nose has banna notes then some nice light tropical fruit - Palate is medium bodied, floral/stone fruit - peach/apricot and perhaps melon. Finish is medium length and about the same. Nice enough, meets the QPR and something to try for perhaps the "unique factor".
