October 14, 2023 - Precise, but well rounded with very forward tree fruits and balanced perfectly. This is great but still on the way up. this is early but very drinkable and with the premox situation, i am starting to drink grand crus earlier. if it never got better it would be wonderful but it will get better/. she makes the best batard

September 8, 2023 - The 09s will be a great year for Gagnard. Precise, but well rounded with tree fruits and balanced perfectly. This is great but still on the way up. The barrel tasting did not lie. Gave it a half hour of air and it could take more.

January 21, 2023 - A little reduction at first. After 20 minutes iof air it’s ready. Subtle floral nose. Big, full bodied, deep wine with relatively low acidity but reasonable balance. While still drinking pretty well today, this is aging relatively quickly and not really developing additional nuance.

October 17, 2020 - A year since we had this last ( Papies 94) and definitely this continues to evolve nicely and easily has another 10yrs to go of life. Still a bit of oaky dynamic and with a rich palate, honey, floral, soft buttery feel and bright citrus. Impressive depth of flavour too here. Andreas 93 / Nicol 95 > 94
