August 10, 2015 - Beautiful wine--paired well with savory meat pie. A little brown around the edge so starting to show it's age. Ready to drink now...don't wait!

June 13, 2013 - Oh my goodness, what a Zin! I remember not being overly impressed by the regular Serracino Zin, but this reserve was awesome-- dark fruit, clove and other beguiling spices, all ideally balanced to create a vibrant and intense flavor that still retains a delightful dryness. Bravo Mazzocco!

April 7, 2012 - Enjoyable aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and dark baking spices. A monster on the palate with dark berry and spice/ herbal action. Silky smooth on the finish. Sweet tannins. Initially a little hot on the finish, but this blows off quickly.
