October 27, 2016 - Vibrant purple color; The wine opens up after about 30 minutes. Before it opens it up it is hot and tight. The nose shows cherry, rhubarb, and a hint of spice. The palate comes across to start with a bit of chocolate and then has cherry, strawberry, red fruit, and some spice. Finishes with an excellent mid palate, pleasant acidity.

October 26, 2010 - AMAZING carignane. Vibrant purple color; cherry, rhubarb, hint of spice on nose; cherry, strawberry, red fruit, more spice; excellent mid palate, pleasant acidity. Drinks great, highly quaffable solo, pairs brilliantly with bbq, short ribs, grilled chicken, and more. Showing what Carignane should be...
