September 25, 2007 - Dark ruby. Sweet barbecued meat surrounding liqueurlike blackberries and pepper, but no heat - surprising, given that this clocks in at 17.1%. Sweet in the mouth, too; I'd bet money the yeast here just died of exhaustion and left at least a few g's of RS. Gentler and lighter in feel than would be expected, with just a little heat coming through on the resinous finish. Best suited to a cheese course.

August 11, 2007 - Very port like. 17.1% alc.. But, it had many characteristics of an aged port from the 80's. rasberry, cola and chocolate and was pretty smooth and light if you are talking port. I like it quite abit.
