December 11, 2016 - Delicious wine with bouquet of white grapefruit, lemon blossom, Granny Smith apple, flint and some smoke. Similar on the palate, fresh and crisp, mouthwatering acidity and minerality.

December 11, 2016 - 2016 Wine & Food Society of La Jolla Holiday Gala (The Lodge at Torrey Pines, La Jolla, CA): This straw-colored Chardonnay flaunts aromatics of white peaches, oyster shells, citrus and melon. Light-to-medium-bodied, fresh and with nicely integrated alcohol, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose, but does so with less intensity and depth. The middle palate thins a bit but a medium-length, crisp finish is resurrected. Despite the lack of mid-palate density, there is enough fruit and structure here to ensure another 3-4 years of enjoyment. Drink now-2020.

August 31, 2015 - archetypical Chablis, full body, full fruit, well kept alive

February 11, 2015 - full power, still young, dry but pleasant soft, right time to drink
