November 24, 2023 - Anniversaire d'un grand ami.Robe évoluée.Nez d'intensité moyenne plutôt sur les fruits secs.Bouche compacte,longiligne,sans fioriture.Arômes prononcés de noisette qui me fait pencher pour un Meursault à tort.Belle longueur.Ce vin m'a vraiment perturbé,surtout après la révélation de son identité.Il semble qu'en vin vieux la marsanne (majoritaire ici) peut développer des arômes de noisette,ce que je n'avais jamais relevé auparavant.Cette cuvée manque quand même de charme pour mériter une cote supérieure.C'est trop monolithique....

October 17, 2015 - 3rd of 12. I was amazed by this wine as previous bottles have not been that fine. This bottle was pale gold, fresh, spicy and slightly nutty with a lovely lemon acidity. Good length. Drunk with chicken souvlaki and was an excellent match. 4+/5

June 18, 2013 - Rich medium gold colour. On the palate, rich texture but very dry. Oxidative/nutty notes, high acidity, bitter orange peel and pith on the finish. Doesn’t move much while open for about 4 days. A bit harsh and ungiving, not really my cup of tea. About two-thirds Marsanne, one-third Roussanne.
