November 14, 2021 - Decanted for 2-3 hours upon arrival at La Banane. Very nice just not blowing me away. Red fruits, small amt of forest floor on the nose, not poopy. Paired well with ribeye steak

July 11, 2019 - this was very good but not extra-ordinary... looked online and there isn't a bottle avail in the US (usually a mark of an extraordinary wine)... certainly wouldn't pay $175 or $200 (which is what I would expect, based on my purchase for $125 about 5 years ago) for it based on this experience

February 23, 2016 - wow, great again... forgot that i had opened and drunk half the bottle before vacation, came home and then found it a few days later in the fridge (had been gassed and corked)... pulled it out and drank and was absolutely fantastic with dense red fruits, velvety textured mouth feel, cinnamon and tartness and sweetness all mixing together to make this extraordinary

December 1, 2015 - wow was this good on nights two and three (especially night three), still felt like it was five years away from reaching peak (as is the case for many of my '99's, '01's and '02's)... but on night three (gassed and fridged overnight each night) this showed sweet creamy cherry strawberry fruit in large amounts, accompanied by hint of spices, good strong acid and iodine... these last three elements provided the perfect juxtaposition to the sweet, clear fruit... superb!! also there were tasty but significant tannins on the finish
