December 14, 2015 - Wonderful stuff. Light, flavorful. In a world of fruit bombs this is a nice change of pace. Has a complexity and enough acid to keep it lively and interesting. You could drink this all night. Decent cru Beaujolais can be purchased upon release for $15. If it is given a few years of bottle age it can become an excellent bottle and a tremendous value.

November 28, 2014 - Drinking dates for this wine are totally incorrect - not only is it not past its drinking window (it is suggested that it is best enjoyed by 2013), it's actually still a bit too young. An unrecognisable beast to its lowly (and utterly characterless) brother (Village Beaujolais), this surprised me with its medium-bodiedness and flavour profile. Purplish-tinge and slight blueberry nose, it was a bit too coarse and vegetal for my liking on day 1, but had settled down into something a bit more approachable by day 3. Wish I'd ignored the drinking dates on this website and held onto it for a few more years - it could be quite interesting by about 2016-2017. Won't be investing in another bottle, though - it's just not good enough to worth worrying about.

November 27, 2014 - Still going strong, paired nicely with a traditional Thanksgiving feast. Developed some tannins with a little air, which lengthened and improved the finish.

May 9, 2014 - Lovely bright red fruit aroma, slightly floral. Cherry, strawberry, raspberry flavors, with some tannic bite on the back palate. Opened up and showed its best after 30 min.

April 13, 2014 - My last bottle and consistent with my prior note from October 2012. This has held up very well. Lots of tangy plum and black cherry fruit, along with some savory and herbal notes on the finish. Drinks like a very good Cote de Nuits Villages.
