August 3, 2012 - NOSE: red fruits like cranberry, raspberry; slight sandalwood and moss/beach sand note, slight stink actually. Quite tight. TASTE: very dry, medium body, sandy tannins. Red fruits: red currant, raspberry, cranberry, sour cherry, some red grape. Very nice but subtle dark chocolate aftertaste. Precise mid-palate. Nice red fruit/chocolate profile, slight soapiness. Nasturtium flowers? Very interesting, fruit-forward Rioja.

August 3, 2012 - Bordeaux-isc style with red current and cranberry. Dark chocolate and red berries driven. Dusty scent. Soapy/perfume undertone, herbal. Dry, med-full body. Cherry, coconut cream cracker.

September 21, 2011 - Bright ruby red color. Nice floral, cherry & chocolate aroma. Soft, dense and dry, with mild spicy currant and cherry flavors. Nice and light but rigid, with a good up finish and a hint of candy & flowers.
