Community Tasting Notes 4

March 19, 2015 - The Texier Brezeme Cote du Rhones from 1999 and 2001 received strong press ratings. As I often do, I set aside a few bottles to drink aged, including some regular and some old vines bottlings. After around 10 years, I started sampling them, and yesterday I opened the last one. All 4 bottles were undrinkable, marred by an overwhelming vinegary sour taste.

March 25, 2012 - Terrible. Astringent, stewed fruit. Undrinkable. Thought it might have been damaged but then read the other reviews.

July 27, 2011 - The cork was partly pushed out, so probably cooked, plus some oxygen seems to have gotten past the synthetic cork. Poured it out.
