October 8, 2016 - Best bottle of this yet; deeply purple colored, heavy red fruit nose showing excellent purity and minerality too; just the slightest hint of a menthol "coolness" to it. Huge extract and ample acidity. As usual, one could never predict what longevity this styled wine might have though it certainly now shows 8-10 years younger than it is.

October 2, 2015 - After several corked bottles on previous tries: very concentrated and extracted; deep, dark and delicious (even if not my style). I've always said wines from P-M always seem to me as having been "made, not grown".

April 24, 2010 - Light velvet colour. Mature nose with lovely ripe strawberry fruit, leather,sous bois,earth. Good ripe fruit but rather intrusive dry tannins and wood. Nice finish. Retry in 2 yrs to see if wood integrates?

February 25, 2010 - Starts out a little woody and awkward, with time it integrates nicely with the wood taking a back step and letting a really lovely floral perfume and bright red fruited flavours emerge. Very enjoyable.
