October 21, 2023 - A very good bottle. Restored my faith in this wine, at this age. Clear evidence of mountain fruit.. modest richness from age yet with agile minerality. Savory flavors of sage against just ripe yellow fruits. Well enjoyed by 9 collectors. Drinking very well now, and likely 2-4 more years.

August 6, 2022 - Potentially flawed or bottle variation. Far along in life & past prime. Some Ox that cleared over time, but overly rich fruit was out of balance. Not as good as last bottle, nor close.

June 20, 2020 - Very nice to drink right now... pie crust, lemon curd, minerality. Neutral or less evident oak. Medium density.

September 2, 2019 - No real change since the last time I had a bottle. A nice chardonnay with flavors of pear and wet straw with white flower overtones. Not a lot of oak.

November 14, 2018 - A nice chardonnay. White flowers on the nose. Pear and straw with hints of white flower on the palate. A nice finish.

(Calera Chardonnay Mount Harlan) Light lemon yellow color; pineapple, ripe lemon, floral nose; tasty, rich but poised, lightly oily textured, ripe citrus palate with balance; medium finish 92+ pts. (great for the price, around $30)
