December 12, 2012 - Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Monte Bello but I thought that this bottle was great. Hard to belive it is 20+ year wine. No real bricking to speak of. Expressive nose. Still excellent structure with cherry and other red fruits with some earth.

June 18, 2005 - Clear, pale gold color. I would have expected it to deepen more at this age. The fruit is mostly gone with the flavors dulled and the acid starting to stand out.
