February 18, 2024 - Adventures in Ginza: Second time having this vintage from Pousse d'or and a different plot but still an incredibly great experience. From the get go this was firing with rose water, cherries and pomegranate dominating both the bouquet and the palate. Great purity of fruit with concentration and persistence, following up with immense sensuality and silkyness. Provided provenance is solid, this still has a good 5-10 years of life down the road but why wait for something that is already so great?

January 19, 2022 - A pop and pour beauty. A real come to papa wine that flaunts all it has to offer. Incredible elegance, fruit purity and persistence. Gorgeous 95 from the master, his second to last vintage.

March 1, 2015 - Alt-Paulée at Bouley: Great showing. Crystalline and pure in character with juicy ripe fruit that is entirely balanced by good acidity and still well structured. The wine is mouth-filling and shows good complexity. Lovely silken texture too.
