March 18, 2023 - Medium garnet. Nose of plum, rose petal, and dry earth. Layers of cherry, red plum, sinewy tar, and powdered gravel on the palate. Ample acidity and dusty tannin. Moderately long finish of red fruit cut with tar and earth. A very satisfying wine.

August 16, 2022 - From memory: opened for a family dinner. Exceptionally smooth layers of luscious but reigned in dark plum fruit with hints of tar on the palate. Deepened as the night progressed. Some guessed Pinot Noir. All liked it.
