February 26, 2017 - Pnp and drank over 5 hours. About 5 minutes in dark fruit flavors began to emerge. It was a little astringent for a while but over time it gradually subsided. Really nice wine, especially at the end.

June 7, 2014 - Black and red fruit, cacao, nice bit of minerality, medium acidity, nice medium-length finish. Terrific.

March 30, 2014 - Bravo. Had with filet mignon at my mountain cabin after a day of skiing, decanted into 3 glasses for an hour in absence of decanter before dinner. Not sure it needed it, was very tasty from the get-go. Lovely soft wine with bountiful red fruit and some secondary mineral elements-- and still some grip but no heat--will still be fine for several years but drinking very nicely now. For under $40 that rare Napa value.

July 21, 2013 - Opened for family to drink with dinner including a prime rib. Very good, slightly softened since the first bottle, black fruit, good acidity. Medium-plus finish.
