January 27, 2024 - Really nice, well aged. Nice nose, good balance. Been sitting on a case for 20 years. Drinking really well now. Class Margaux.

March 15, 2022 - A recent purchase which is absolutely outstanding for the price. Excellent fill level, so obviously had been kept very well. Colour was not as “brown” as I would have thought for a 22.5 year old claret, so I think it must have been stored at a constant quite cool temperature. Decanted two hours. Fully mature and definitely not fading. At its peak. Classic, fully mature left-bank good quality Bordeaux. Not too complex, but just lovely. Tremendous bottle and an enjoyable experience.

December 3, 2021 - Wow. The nose here is tremendous classic floral and frilly berry noted Margaux. Cedar, cherries, blackberry, violtes and a nice inner mouth perfume. The palate is good until the middle finish where it grows a bit dry and woody. However for its level and price it is a well made wine.

July 6, 2021 - The rating is based on if you like fully matured wines, the tannis were very silky and not BDX like, guess 99 was not a great year. This bottle is certainly well matured and further aging would probably not improve it. 他特地布林带and quite hard to pinpoint the original as matured reds shared so many common characteristics.

June 11, 2021 - This was a super elegant wine with silky texture, very fine tannin, a mild fruit compote with hints of ink and dried herbs. Caressing mid-palate and nice finish. Lovely now.

(Château Kirwan) Medium red violet color; sweet plum nose with a touch of mint; surprisingly tight, red fruit, plum palate with a mint note; short-medium finish
