May 3, 2018 - Light golden color. Rich, yet fresh aromas emerge from the glas. Ripe lemon, acidic volcanic rock, flint and some apricot. Medium bodied wine, good concentration. Very furmint, very volcanic. Nice smooth texture. Ripe acidity in the finish. Great stuff. At peak, I guess.

November 30, 2011 - The 2009 has just been selected by Matt Kramer as one of three wines of the year. Lovely nose with citrus fruits, candied citrus, ginger, and a touch of toasty oak. This is complex and fresh at the same time, and started to evolve. Palate is dense and rich, with crisp acidity balancing it's viscous texture, but somehow the parts not (yet?) fully integrated. 2007 Tokajis are quite smooth generally (including Demeter's off-dry Szerelmi Hárslevelű 2007), may be it just needs some time.

January 16, 2011 - Rich honey, butter, yellow plum, apple pie and some botrytis. Late harvest richness, smooth mouthfeel, slightly flat acidity. Perhaps just a hint of troubled cork compared to previous bottles. Still a great wine, though.
