October 19, 2018 - Bought from Majestic Wine when they used to be a serious wine merchant .

Dark in the glass but ruby up to the light . Rich red fruits with morello cherry and even a hint of chocolate - weightless and very lovely . The essence of what a good Beaune PC should be and plenty of life left in it - sadly my last bottle.

May 13, 2017 - A bit funky to start with but opened up to a spicy structured effort with good rich red fruits . Very good indeed .

January 21, 2015 - Nose with strawberries, mild spices and noticeable development including some leather and animal notes. Medium bodied, strawberries and some cherries, good acidity, some mineral, rather mild tannins and signs of development. Fully developed or even in decline, 87 p.
Shows more development than I had expected for a 2002, given recent experiences from other Albert Morot bottles from 2001-2003, and it is also less impressive than I expected. Don't know if it's the vineyard or just this bottle.

August 30, 2007 - The color was a medium to light garnet. This has a wonderful nose of wild flowers, especially violets...wow. There was a fantastic fruit profile, crushed stones, and great balance on the palate. The tannin level is quietly hiding but is surely the bones that supports all these wonderful qualities. This wine is ultra pure and elegant. Very nice indeed. $29.95 and well worth it.

June 24, 2007 - Gently fragrant on the nose, but on the palate, this was rich, spicy, red fruity, and serious, balanced, unshowy, but very good
