June 18, 2012 - Washington Wine Trip; 6/15/2012-6/19/2012: Tasting room pour. Syrah from 3 different sites, blended and fermented in 30-35% new oak. Meaty/bacon characteristic initially on the nose, black cherry fruit, anise. Yum yum. Flavors of red cherry pit, plum, garrigue/spice, flinty medium+ finish, nice!
