September 17, 2023 - This was en pointe. This is one of those Burgundies that teaches a stark lesson in collecting red Burgundy- 4 bottles @ $50(-ish) each. 3 are fine- but is the price worth it? One is perfect and why do I drink anything else? Aways interesting for those like me who collect modest(-ish) Burgundies

June 25, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP #291: Burgundy 2009 (@ VD): Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, toast, oak and quite many rustic and barnyard impressions. On the palate juicy dark berries, toast, good acidity, length and round, juicy tannin. Young maturity now and still a pleasure 5 - 8+ years from now.

December 13, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #124; Burgundy; Gevrey-Chambertin (By VD and @ VD): In the bouquet cherries, green herbs and some rustic flavors. On the palate juicy and ripe fruits, some rustic flavors, oak and refined. Good freshness, tannin and pleasant bitterness. Good length.

October 15, 2017 - Florals, marzipan, red berries. Good mouthfeel, with some complexities coming through on the palate. It's quite pleasing.
