January 7, 2024 - Still drinking well! A golden colour. Sweet and ripe peaches.

February 24, 2016 - The nose says Mosel, but without the tension on the palate that I so very adore in my favorite German Rieslings. I enjoyed the aromatics, which suggested ripe stone fruit, citrus and honey blossoms, and some savory notes, though I really was begging more a bit more of that nervy acidity to cut through the delicious but hefty fruit. A very nice wine and delicious, to be sure. Perhaps I just had my expectations set too high or was simply in the mood for my palate to be battered by acidity on that particular night...

August 16, 2013 - Pale gold; lemons, limes, peaches, honeysuckle; semi-dry, grapefruit, peach, minerally, medium body, tangy acidity, long finish.
Slightly sweet, citrus-peach with a clean, long finish. Very tasty, went well with salmon but also nice just to sip. Agree with Paul S - I thought it was a Mosel.

April 12, 2013 - Medium intensity pale yellow with tartaric acid crystal sediment. Very complex nose of peaches and pears, some honey, white flowers and underlying but not overpowering kerosene. Really quite nice. Palate was medium- body and sweetness seemed a little restrained given Spatlese classification. Medium+ acidity balances everything out. Excellent length lingering for a while. Lovely bottle. Too bad I only had one.

November 27, 2012 - Spicy, yellow apple, mineral, wax and lanolin nose. Round and flavourful; good length off-dry finish.
