Community Tasting Notes 2

August 3, 2013 - A cherry dominant nose with some liqueur notes and a vanillin element from the gentle oak. This is definitely a savoury wine, but with some delicate florals in the mix as well. The palette is has some bold texture with ripe tannins and is overall quite soft and rounded.

August 4, 2011 - A light red colour in the glass, the nose has a sinewy savoury form with earthy stem and dark dusty cherry.

The wine has an enjoyable flavour profile that begins subtly with cherry and earth before building in power across the palate, picking up spice, coffee and a slight leather character on the way.

The finish has good length and the wine will be best enjoyed over the next 2 - 3 years
