March 16, 2018 - Been doing some "house cleaning" in the cellar recently, and turning up a few strays that were lost - this being one of those bottles.
The color is still sound - light translucent ruby wth no browning on the rim. Not much going on with the nose.
Hints of red and black fruit, but at this point the "top survivor" is the acidity - so the wine doesn't come across as over the hill, but the acidity tends to dominate here, making this somewhat one-dimensional on the palate.
Drinkable as a beverage, but otherwise unremarkable. -
